Heather is a designer from
the rural fields of Ohio.

Prior to creating HMcD, Heather perfected her design skills at SpiceFire a start-up branding innovation agency, and Interband a global branding agency. While at SpiceFire, Heather created their brand identity with a unique entrepreneurial edge/spirit. She also directed the Purex Crystals, Ball Park and Tyson Redesigns. At Interbrand, she worked in the Cincinnati, London, and Singapore offices. Where she directed the redesign of Supervalu Musgrave in Europe, the Mars/Wrigley Skittles global redesign and harmonization of the Skittles brand identity, and Lava mobile devices corporate identity for India.

Heather creates strategic solutions across a variety of industries and touch-points. They include: product promotions, in-store communications, merchandising, website design, print/digital communications, product launch and sales kits, packaging, brand strategy, environmental + interior design.

While Heather’s first love is her hometown Wilmington, Ohio she travels as often as possible with her husband Matt and son Dale Roger.
